Celebrating Earth Month With Promise Organic

All products c/o: Promise Organic (available at CVS!)

Let's celebrate Earth Month in style!  I posted about Promise Organic products awhile ago, but my goodness, how much I have come to love these products!  I use the facial cleanser, facial creams and lotions, as well as the hand cream daily.  I know I've said it before, but each product smells AMAZING.  The argan oil based products have a lovely decadent citrus smell, and the coconut based products just give off a heavenly tropical vibe.  My favorite products have been the facial lotions and creams.  They're note even a bit greasy, and yet actually work well!  I use them daily, and they provide the perfect base for foundation.  Promise Organic sent over a few more products from the line to try, just in time for Earth Month!  I'm so excited about the body wash, because I get tired of using bar soap, and so many body washes have propylene glycol and parabens in them (yuck and itch).  The towelettes are destined to be a favorite as well, because I love them for taking eye makeup off as well as throwing in my travel bag for trips.  I'm also super excited about the coconut oil.  I have been using the argan oil a few times a week on my hair to smooth down fly-aways, on my face for an added boost of moisture, and on my hands and legs to clear drying skin.  The coconut oil also comes with a pump dispenser and also has a lovely smell!  I've mentioned before, but I'm trying to incorporate more natural products into my beauty routine, and these have been such a pleasant surprise.  You can find them at CVS in the natural beauty section.  You should really try them out (plus the packaging is on point!).

Happy Earth Month, friends!

The above products were provided to me in exchange for a review.  All opinions are my own.

Nothing Is Wasted

Verse Card: The Daily Grace Company

Have you ever asked yourself why things in your life have unfolded the way they have?  Have you ever made the proclamation, either mentally or verbally, that all that hard work, all that sacrifice, all the passion, all of the dreams and plans, all of the excitement and hope- all of it, was wasted?  Maybe you know it wasn't all wasted, but you just can't understand WHY it didn't turn out the way your planned it.

You're not alone, my friend.  I think for each of us, there has been one or two of those inescapable seasons of life.  And especially for the passionate dreamers and determined hard-workers, those seasons can leave the heart and mind battered and bruised.

Jason Gray sings a song that hits me right where it counts every time I listen to it.  Just read the words, and let it sink in.  Is this you?

"The hurt that broke your heart and left you trembling in the dark, feeling lost and alone- will tell your hopes a lie.  What if every tear you cry will seed the ground where joy will grow.

Nothing is wasted.  Nothing is wasted.  In the hands of our redeemer, nothing is wasted.

It's from the deepest wounds that beauty finds a place to bloom.  And you will see, before the end.
That every broken piece is gathered in the heart of Jesus, and what's lost will be found again.

Nothing is wasted.  Nothing is wasted.  In the hands of our redeemer, nothing is wasted.

When hope, is more than you can bear and it's too hard to believe it could be true, and your strength
fails you halfway there, you can lean on me and I'll believe for you.  And in time, you will believe it

Nothing is wasted.  Nothing is wasted.  Sometimes we are waiting in the sorrow we have tasted.

But joy will replace it.  Nothing is wasted in the hands of our redeemer.  Nothing is wasted!"
