Wood Watches

My style has definitely evolved over time (gone are the days of butterfly hair clips and overalls!).  However, despite a few style "hiccups", I have always been drawn to a unique and classic-elegance sort of style.  I always look for wardrobe pieces that are not "same old, same old", and that can be versatile to go with anything.

This JORD watch is the absolutely perfect addition to my accessory collection. generously sent me the Fieldcrest Zebrawood and Maple Watch to review, and I have been thoroughly impressed.  The craftman-ship and unique details are amazing, and can we talk about the packaging for a minute? [insert swoon here]

I love that the watch literally goes with anything.  This past week I've tried it with a few different styles, and it worked perfectly with each.  I paired it with a sun dress, pearl bracelet, and a preppy bow bracelet for a girly look.  I tried it as a single accessory for a casual day.  And I couldn't help but notice how adorable it looked on my dresser with some of my favorite bits and baubles.  It's also the kind of watch I feel that I could wear to work with scrubs at work or outdoors on some of my active adventures.  It's just that versatile!

Well friends!  I would highly recommend checking out these elegant JORD watches and adding them to your "Christmas in July" list.  You won't regret it, I promise you!

Back to a busy weekend and week of work after a few glorious days off.  Then I start my OBGYN rotation (catching babies should be fun).

Pink Lace With Shabby Apple

Ruffle Front Gramercy Dress: Shabby Apple c/o ~ Bracelet: J. Crew ~ Hat: LOFT ~ Espadrilles: TJ Maxx

I have been a Shabby Apple admirer for quite some time.  I am the kind of girl who could live in dresses... every single day of the week.  :)  Ironically, I live in scrubs (almost) every day of the week.  But when I have the chance, especially in the spring and summer months, I just love to put on a dress and feel girly again.

Being the vintage style lover that I am, Shabby Apple is the perfect fit to my wardrobe.  I love dresses that bring the mind to another era... one of class, elegance, and beautiful femininity.  When the dress arrived in teh mail, I was overwhelmed with how beautifully soft and well-made it was, and the pink color is perfectly elegant and summery.  Perfect for a party or a summer soiree!

I also love the ruffled bodice to the dress.  It's unexpected, yet flirty and feminine.  This dress was made complete by the addition of a beautiful hat, giving it the perfect "southern belle" sort of feel that I also gravitate towards.  A few sparkly floral jewels, and some gold espadrilles made the outfit complete.

Thank you to Shabby Apple for a new summer favorite!  Be sure to check out all of their beautiful new collections.  I am swooning over their new collection of perfectly lacey and blush-colored dresses!  Absolutely beautiful!

Krass & Co

Shorts: Krass & Co (c/o) / Tops: Target, Lilly Pulitzer

I love working with brands that really capture my style.  So when Krass and Co reached out to see if I would like to review a few of their summer designs, I was thrilled, because honestly, these shorts are just the cutest!   When I'm not working, I live in athletic gear in the summer.  With all of the outdoor activities I love to do, plus the heat, it's essential to be cool and comfy, but with these shorts, I feel like I'm not compromising any bit of "cute" either!  Plus the variety of colors, prints, and embroidered designs will just make you swoon ;)
