Summer Citrus

Fruit prints are EVERYWHERE this summer, and as an avid fruit-aholic, I'm loving it.  When J. Crew Factory came out with their citrus orange printed tops this spring, I fell in love.  I had this very shirt in hand in the store, but alas, they didn't have any XS sizes left and I l departed empty-handed.  However, a couple of weeks ago, the shirt went on sale online with an extra 30% off and free shipping, and I ended up with this adorable number for only $21!  Much better than I would have paid in-store.  And it is just SO cute!

Southern Belle

Dress: c/o eShakti (sold out, but loving this, and really dying over this)// Necklace: J. Crew (similar)// Wedges:  Jessica Simpson// Bag: Ralph Lauren (similar)// Bracelets:  J.Crew Factory, Alex and Ani// Lipstick:  Mac "Syrup"

Have you ever had a moment where you slip into a dress and it just fits PERFECTLY?  Like a glove?  As if it was made for you and only you?  Oh my goodness... as soon as I received this beautiful dress from eShakti, I was in love.  The dress design, with all of its elegant, lady-like Southern charm, had caught my eye on the website, but it is even better in person.

I have a problem finding dresses that truly "fall at the knee" because, let's face it.... at 5'9 1/2" with an inseam of like 36", that can be a really hard task for a dress to accomplish.  Most "knee length" dresses fall at my mid-thigh.  Not. Cool.

So when eShakti promised a knee-length dress, I had doubts.  I loved their idea of choosing a design and they would customize to you.  But I still doubted.
I am absolutely enthralled with this dress.  I wore it last weekend to a garden wedding, and felt like the quintessential Southern Belle.  I love the neckline, embroidered bodice, and pockets.  Ladies, it has pockets.  Enough said!

A special thank you to eShakti  for the beautiful dress!

Well friends!  Hope everyone has a good start to the week.  I'm working on many more blog posts, and starting a few fun new projects.  And doing paperwork for my new job.  Not quite as fun. :)

Cheers,
This is a sponsored post:  I received the dress in return for a blog review.  All opinions reflect my honest opinion.
